Ben Twist has been confirmed as the second player to join the playing roster of the Sydney Saints.
Having represented rivals, the Sydney Lions on 253 occasions, Twist is no stranger to the Bowls Premier League arena. Twist has won 3 BPL Titles and was named an All Stars in BPL14. However, the opportunity to finally represent the franchise backed by the Club held so close to his heart, is likely to be one of his proudest achievements in his long BPL career.
Ben Twist is a Jackaroo and needs little introduction around the Bowls Community, particularly those at St Johns Park Bowling Club Group. Twist was a Silver Medallist in the Triples at the 2022 Birmingham Commonwealth Games. His resume extends to being a six time Australian Champion, four time Australian Open winner and seven time State Champion winner. Ben’s highly credentialed resume, makes him the perfect fit at the Sydney Saints.
It was a “no brainer” for Twist when the opportunity arose, that he wanted to confirm what has been a long-term and successful commitment to the Saints Group.
