These two ooze the Saints Spirit. When called upon, they both jumped in to do whatever was required of them to assist the Saints.
A late change saw Jerry take the coaching reins and what a fine job he did to guide the Saints into 3rd position. We probably should have done a medical first given the tense moments throughout but what a treasure we have in Gerard “Jerry Jerry” Beath!
Joseph Clarke was called into camp at the 11th hour as a back up due to an illness surrounding a team mate! His time over the week resembled the ‘Hokey Pokey’ but as “Joey” does, he takes it in his stride and will do whatever is required… In the end it was holding the Lolly Jar for the week but we are truly grateful – Thanks ‘Bambi’!
